The emptiness only a father can fill.
The emptiness only a Father can fill.
Both are needed.
God the Father designed “family” with a specific structure – one that would represent His heart towards His children. Satan desperately hates all that is of God and has made it his goal to destroy one of God’s best gifts to humanity – fathers.
Fatherlessness affects both men and women…and in so many aspects of life. We see fatherlessness not only in the home, but also in the church. Many people have left the Kingdom over the treatment to or from leadership in the church.
If you are dealing with the pain of fatherlessness, consider where it began and ask God to heal the brokenness. The truth of the matter is this – we are human. We fail. There is not one of us who is perfect and if you are bitter, angry, addicted, lonely or desperate because of a daddy issue in your life, I beg of you to lay your hurt at the feet of the only perfect Father.
He alone can fill that fatherless void in your soul. Once you allow yourself this perfect gift of a Father, every other relationship in your life can be ones without the demands and expectations that have the ability to crush your soul.
Because in Him, you are complete and able to love without fear. In Him, you will discover that even if everything falls apart – He is always, always more than enough.
§ Do I relate to the fatherless aspects of the Orphan Spirit?
§ If yes, what situation has caused this?
§ Who or what do I turn to for comfort?
§ Is this a healthy choice?
§ If not, how should I change this?
§ Do I carry bitterness towards a father role in my life?
§ Do I recognize God as my Father?
§ If not, ask God to reveal Himself as a Father to you.
